Welcome to the Coachella Valley Recovery Center, where we are proud to offer the only women-only inpatient treatment program in the region. Our Women's Treatment Track is specifically designed to address the unique needs of women facing substance use disorders (SUD), medical conditions, and co-occurring conditions.
We believe in a holistic approach to women's health, addressing substance use disorders (SUD), medical conditions, and co-occurring conditions. Our comprehensive program covers mental health issues such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety, allowing us to admit higher-acuity clients. We integrate female veterans and civilians, providing specialized tracks for military sexual trauma and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Lastly, we offer expert medical care: if you’re dealing with alcoholism or SUD and also managing diabetes, chronic pain, or require oxygen therapy, for example, our program is tailored to meet your needs.
We are excited to introduce our new full-time Medical Director, Dr. Olatunde Bosu. A Yale Medical School graduate specializing in family practice and addiction, Dr. Bosu brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our center. His expertise is a key differentiator, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care.
We do not offer a one-size-fits-all program: at Coachella Valley Recovery Center, we offer highly specialized and personalized care. We continually pursue innovative modalities such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and ketamine treatments to enhance long-term success. Experiential therapies, including yoga and mindfulness, are integral parts of our program, helping women to heal both body and mind.
We understand the importance of family in a woman's recovery journey. Our program includes family group therapy as part of our supportive continuum, acknowledging the interconnectedness of women's lives and their responsibilities.
Our milieu primarily consists of women aged 30 and older, many of them with families or jobs that can be distracting to recovery. We recognize that women often tend to take care of others before themselves, so we’ve created a space JUST for our clients. The Coachella Valley offers a unique spiritual atmosphere with healing energies—and little to no distractions—making it an ideal environment to focus on recovery.
From the moment you step through our doors, you become a lifelong member of our recovery community. We provide an extensive aftercare program and partner with outpatient care facilities to ensure a continuum of care. Our goal is to help you build a life, get back on your feet, and achieve the independence you need.
