Heidi Sakacs is the EAP Outreach Specialist for Coachella Valley Recovery Center, with over 15 years of experience in Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services. She provides confidential counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support to employees facing personal or work-related challenges. Heidi is certified as an Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and trained in Critical Incident Stress Management, Motivational Interviewing, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Intervention. Previously, Heidi worked as an EAP Specialist for the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) union, representing 26,000 American Airlines flight attendants. She developed treatment plans, facilitated crisis interventions, and delivered mental health workshops. Heidi also served as a Flight Attendant and Purser at American Airlines, coordinating critical incident response teams and peer support programs. With a strong educational background from the National Labor College and Arizona State University, Heidi excels in crisis intervention, counseling, assessment and referral, case management, and training.
