H. David Fickenscher, RN
Director of Nursing
Henry David Fickenscher, RN has over two decades of experience in nursing and supervision, having worked in various healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and detox units. Most recently, he served as a Registered Nurse at the Betty Ford Center, where he provided care for patients in the detox unit during the acute withdrawal process. Before joining Coachella Valley Recovery Services, Fickenscher held leadership roles such as House Supervisor at Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital and Centennial Hills Hospital, managing nursing teams and coordinating patient care during night shifts. His extensive experience in supervising nursing care, ensuring patient safety, and building successful teams will be a valuable asset to Coachella Valley Recovery Services. As Director of Nursing, Fickenscher will be responsible for developing nursing care strategies, overseeing the nursing staff, and ensuring that Coachella Valley Recovery Services continues to provide high-quality, compassionate care to its clients. He holds an Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Wor-Wic Community College and is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
