First responders react to traumatic events all day from forest fires, car accidents, violence, and other stressors daily. Coachella Valley Recovery Center has direct programming and addiction treatment for first responders. We understand how hard it can be for those who help others to ask for help themselves.
First responders who have experienced deep trauma and years of stress on the job are impacted significantly from the impact of their profession.
That is why we’ve created non-judgemental detoxification, residential inpatient, and Palm Springs dual diagnosis treatment program to help first responders get the help they need. Whether is issues of substance abuse, alcohol, anxiety, PTSD, toxic work environment. At Coachella Valley Recovery Center, we promote mental and physical health by treating the individual, not just the disorder.
A significant factor in recovery success is learning to deal with your struggles every day. Your environment could be full of triggers like friends and family members who don’t have sympathy for your decision to get sober, friends who constantly abuse drugs and encourage you to do so, or even triggers from your past trauma. At our inpatient rehab in Southern California, Coachella Valley residents have an opportunity to leave their current environment, step away and focus internally.
That is why our inpatient alcohol and drug rehab program helps you change how you think about yourself and your surroundings. We help you work your way through poor communication with your family so that they understand their role in your sobriety and you understand good communication and family dynamics when you leave. This type of therapy gives you coping skills and communication skills for those times when your home life or family circumstances cause you stress and make you think about turning back to drugs or alcohol.
Our inpatient facility gives you positive psychology, social support, coping skills, and social skills that you can develop in group meetings. This gives you the chance to process your emotions when they are right so that you can identify when saw patterns are beneficial for you or when they hinder you. These skills give you the chance to stop yourself when you’re having negative thoughts and change them. This helps you change your behavior and your actions.
We want you to be the best version of yourself, think highly of yourself, and be confident that you can handle whatever stress, mental health disorders, or triggers life throws your way without relapse.
